Josh and Jason are the absolute best. We had a 6 month old German Shepherd, that would just not listen. So I gave Mr. Clardy a call. Mr. Josh picked him up 2 weeks ago. They were able to kennel train him, on leash, off leash, and verbal commands. My dog came back a totally different dog! Our favorite command is the “Go to bed”. I am very grateful for both of these fine men. They even took time out of their Sunday to bring Rambo back and go over what Rambo was taught and helped us with the commands. I would HIGHLY recommend Mid-State K9 for any dog training. They are hands down the best around! ~ Dalton E

MidState K9 did a phenomenal job with my dog, Navy. He worked on off-leash training, reactivity, hyper control, and leash pulling—and the transformation has been incredible. Navy is more focused, calm, and responsive than I ever thought possible. Walks are finally enjoyable, and I feel confident handling him in real-world situations. The trainer is knowledgeable, patient, and truly cared about Navy’s success, making sure I understood how to maintain the training at home. I signed up my 7 year old, German Sheoherd for the 3 week board and train. Oscar has been really aggressive and anxious over the last 6.5 years and I secluded him from the outside world (ultimately making his condition worse). The trainers kept me in the loop every step of the way. Contacting me for more insight to his personality or calling me to give me updates. After 3 weeks, Oscar has been brought back to me. I met with Jason at petsmart and for the first time in Oscar’s adult life, he went in there and a completely different dog. I brought him back to the house and took him for a walk. He was a bit reactive to strangers and I made the correction to stop the behavior. I know he is more protective of me but I see what he can be if I continue to work with him. I am really thankful for Jason and the entire team and Mid-State K9 for their care and training for Oscar. I’ve lived with the anxiety of an aggressive dog (that I definitely enabled) and can finally start to alleviate both of our stress as we go out in public. ~ Brian E

We learned about this company after asking our vet for recommendations on training for our 4 month old Cocker Spaniel puppy “Rudder.” The vet said this was a board and train program, and I initially was not interested in sending him away for someone else to train. About a week went by and we decided to call. We spoke with Jason and told him all about our dog and our concerns. Based on our conversation with him and reading reviews, we decided to move forward with the process. Rico was Rudder’s trainer. From the moment he came to our home to get Rudder, we knew he was in great hands. He followed up with texts and videos on Rudder’s progress and was quick to respond to our questions. Rudder spent 3 weeks with him. He has been back home for a week now. He is doing great. It has been a learning process for us as well to help keep him focused and not let old behaviors creep back in. Rico has taken the time to come by on 2 occasions already to help us work out some issues. We have been extremely pleased with Rico! It is clear he truly cares about these dogs and wants them and us to succeed. He is still our happy little puppy, but he is more calm, gentle, and is thriving with structure. Josh was amazing! We have a six month old schipperke that we sent through training. My main goal was recall so I can hike and kayak with her.
